Chad Weller fell in love with Ogden last fall when he
traveled to our little world to compete in the North Face Endurance Challenge
50 miler in Park City. Chad also travels
across the country to promote the good work Prevent Child Abuse America does
for families and kids. It was the Utah
chapter who introduced The Banyan Collective to Chad Weller.
Chad is a professional trail runner, ultra distance, a former
model (although he’s still a hunk) and ambassador for LuLuLemon Athletica. This time Chad is in O-town to take on The
Bear 100 Mile Endurance run which runs from Logan to the Idaho side of Bear
Lake.

Our Trailhead series continues this week at Summit Powder Mountain where we visited the open air Mirror Gallery, hiked the new adjacent mountain bike trail, then podcasted from the top of the mountain. We interviewed Summit's Art Director, Marshall Birnbaum who has introduced an Artist In Residence program on the Mountain. We were also fortunate to spend significant time with Photographer/Story Teller, Daniel Fox, who will spend the next two weeks in the Powder Mountain backcountry photographing and documenting the area.
